First, we have an informational discussion by phone to learn about exactly what subject matter you'd like to cover. At that time, we will establish what and where you'd like us to shoot and who the people are that will be involved. Actual shoot time depends on the project length that you choose. The longer the finished video, the longer we stay and shoot. Typically, we come to your home but we're open to other locations, depending on what works best for your story.

No, after we've talked to you and understand what it is you're trying to document, we will work with you to create a list of questions that will drive your story. We will share that list of questions with you before the actual shoot date so you can familiarize yourself with what you want to include. You can also feel free to add more or delete. You will always have control of your story. It's very informal, so no need to be nervous.

The actual video will arrive on a stick drive that is compatible with any USB computer port. You can also get multiples to distribute at a slight cost per drive. We will also post it to our Vimeo page so that you can access it remotely to share it with friends and family. You will have full rights to share it anywhere. We are a phone call or email away if you have any technical issues.

Turnaround time is typically 3 weeks. If your project has a specific timeline, you can let us know so we can work to get it delivered by that date. If you'd like us to incorporate existing content (family still photos or videos) the editing time may take a bit longer.

There may be a need for fill-in pictures to round out the story. We won't ask you for anything until the actual rough draft of the video is put together. At that point, we may need some additional content in the form of still photographs, either physical photos or digital images. All physical pictures will be returned to you when the video is delivered.

We have had clients share in the cost of videos. We will work with you to meet whatever goals you have and together we'll find the right package for your budget. Here are just a few of the ways it's been done: - Baby shower hosts will sometimes buy a package together for the mother-to-be. - Sometimes siblings pool their money and have a longer video done about their parents. - Grandparents pay for videos of their grandchildren. - Mother's Day videos given by children - Payment applies as in all videos. 50% upfront and the remaining 50% at the video delivery.
